The free version of Courio stores your files for ten days from the day they are uploaded. After that they are permanently removed from the database.

How do I know you are not a 'phishing' site?

Phishing sites are websites which capture your personal information for purposes other than providing the service you have requested, e.g. identity theft.

We are registered with the Data Protection Act in the UK and as such your rights are protected under British Law. We publish our toll-free telephone number (08000 84 24 64) throughout the website and our full contact details can be found on the contact page. In addition to this, if you have any questions or need any assistance you can use the Live Chat service and talk to one of our support team - this can be found on the right column of this page and also on the contact page. For further peace of mind you can read what others are saying about Courio on the testimonials page.

Where are my download instructions?

If you have been sent a file but have not yet received your notification email containing the download link and password this could be for a number of reasons:

  • Allow up to one hour (sometimes longer) for the email to arrive, although it's usually only a matter of minutes or even seconds, as some email systems are busier than others.
  • Check your Junk Mail and/or Spam folders. Some email providers are particularly stringent about spam so sometimes our messages can get mistaken as unwanted or unsolicited email and may end up in one of these folders.

What are cookies and why do I need them?

Cookies are small files on your computer that are used by your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari) to store information relating to certain websites you visit, such as login information. This prevents you from having to keep inputting the same information each time you visit a website.
